Need some help with this rug.

... don't use fringe bleach.. ever.. unless you absolutly have to.. it cause cotton to dry rot and degrade. the last picture is a wool face fiber on wool foundation.. hence the darker looking fringe.

If you have problems with fringes... blast them,, dry them and if they brown use the acetic acid on them to remove the browning.. simple as pie.

You mean pressure wash them?

I sometimes put the rug on the edge of the pit where only the fringe hangs down. Pretreat it and pressure wash the fringes.

100% agree. Worst products they ever came out with were the fringe bleaches, and everyone thinks that what you use to CLEAN fringe, and it does not do squat to clean them.

Manual scrubbing works also, with a good shampoo like an All-Fiber Shampoo. You can also use hot water on cotton fringe - just make sure to not let it wick into the wool - it will make the wool bleed.
