new hydramaster 4.8 cds with salsa

used machine for first time yesterday, noticed it is louder than the earlier ones. was told by the installers
hydramaster changed the salsa unit from long shape to rectangular box which makes it louder!machine ran
great but didnt get the 230 heat that i thought i get, it could be the wand i was using, gonna try a different
wand, heat went up to 200-210 which is fine! it is installed in chevy 2500 van , being brand new it might need
a few tweaks to get it up to 230 heat! other than that no complaints! does anybody have any thoughts about the
heat?

Marc, what flow/jetting does the wand have? Makes a big difference.

I would use the wand I want and not worry about the heat. Higher flow gets more temp to the carpet which is where it counts.

i was told if i want 230heat i might have to go to a 205 thermostat for the chevy 2500 van i think the thermostat is at 195. my buddy has a white magic with same van and he went to
a higher thermostat to get better heat

update, vacum relief valve was adjusted now everything is fine now
