I bought two of them a few weeks back. The vac is better, but sometimes the lid is near impossible to remove. I think the suction from the tm locks it down. It's the twist version. I have a vice grip (there is no lid I can't remove), but still the lid sometimes is HARD to remove. I see this being a big problem for most cleaners.

Anyone else notice this.

Clear hf.

The vacuum from the tm makes the lid hard to get off sometimes.

I have to use all my force to get it off.

Other times it comes off with ease.

It's wierd.

Oh wow Mikey....the banner ads I guess aren't being looked at enough.

Even regular mikeysboarders don't seem to know that there is a new in line filter from hydroforce that is basically a knock off of mytee's in line filter with the twist on-off lid.

The banner has been up for a while here from time to time.

The HydroForce in-line filters are a full 2" air path and have no restriction on the bottom like some older filters. The lids do twist on. The construction is heavy duty bullet-proof type plastic. We even drove a truck over it and could not break anything. No latch to break with the screw on lid.

If you can't get the lid off, here are some options -
1) Shut off the truckmount vacuum if that is what is holding it on.
2) Don't screw the lid on as tight.
3) A little petroleum jelly on the threads.

Of course the tm is not connected when trying to get the lid off.

I will try some teflon grease. Maybe the o-ring needs to be greased a bit.

Overall it is a much better design than the old one.
