Larry is known for buying the shells from Porty manufactures and totally rebuilding the guts with his Texas sized components and aspirations.

I'm going to assume he is doing the same with this TMI shell.

Did Mytee stop selling you shells Larry?

Good - I like doing that too, but on a much smaller scale. I've got another idea for boosting the vac, but it's top secret right now.:winky:

BTW good idea Marty- we need a POG room...

Say Dan, do you mind if I use that on my web site?
What's that Larry? Sure, no problem, you're welcome to use the image on your website...
Thanks! I really appreciate it!
Oh, you're welcome, it was no big deal. Any time!
It looks great! Maybe you can share some of your Photoshop tips with me someday.
Why thanks Larry, it does look pretty good if I do say so myself.
I tried to like your post, but I can't seem to get this button to work....
I know you're like button is broken, no problemo -

lol.............but now @hogjowl is going to be bitching about the quote thing
Fred:
We should not be allowed to change a quote.
Marty

I think Marty will be OK with my post - since I didn't change any quotes - I made up brand new completely bogus quotes, since Larry never actually said any of those things.... unfortunately.....

Its perfect really....the name fits for the POG crowd
@bob vawter doean't use it anymore
Its private so the POGs aren't embarrassed
Its private so it doesn't bring down the credibility of the forum as the place for professional carpet cleaners

Edit: And @Willy P can be the one eyed man

:icon_twisted:

That's pretty silly Fred- I'm not the least bit embarrassed about what I do or how I do it and I'm actually quite proud of what I've done. I'm very good at my profession and make pretty damn good coin doing it. If the tm crowd feels threatened about the use of electricity to achieve the same goals, then that reflects on them, not me or the others that do the same thing I do. We're all businessmen, striving to earn a good living for ourselves and our families. If you consider me (or the many others) that use electrical machinery to reach our goals as a "less than professional" than those are your issues, not mine.

We have some really good portable only guys on MB.

They really care about doing a quality job. Some go through the extra steps and hassles of lugging and managing extra equipment to do a better job.
I'd like to see how long a TM only cleaner would last in Downtown Manhattan or Vancouver; and soon maybe San Francisco.

IMO_
MB's porty guys are Not TEMF guys-- this broad attracts Quality--Or at least those that strive to be.
Much respect to you Willy.

My grandfather Earl (who passed away decades ago) was a carpenter. A guy with a wooden toolbox full of hand tools type of carpenter. That man could build anything and everything he did was a work of art. He didn't have a panel saw, planer, shaper, or any of the expensive tools you would find in a modern production environment yet he turned out gorgeous kitchen cabinets at a good clip. It's not the equipment, folks. It's the nut behind the wheel.

We cleaned 6 condo units today all with our trusty portable.... $1,600 is not bad for a day's work with a portable... Having multiple units in the same building does help... Should have seen the amount of sand we pulled with the rv360i BH... It's slower than wanding, but does a way better job... These condo's are on beach front...

TM or portable, the money is all the same - in one hand and out the other.....
