I can't compare it to the RX20. I only use the RX20 on CGD. So far I have only used the 360XL on residential. The 360XL cleans better and dries faster than any other tool I have used and I have used more then a few.

I test drove a HOSS but never touched the Trex.

If you want a good ab work out I would say the Zipper is the winner. If your fat and lazy like me I would just plug in the 360xl and let it do the work for you. I don't think I can compare the two. I use the Zipper for commercial carpet and have only used the 360XL on residential carpet so far. I have also been very happy with the 360I but with the extra weight of the 360XL It runs smoother and cleans deeper.

Having used the original 2 headed RV back in 2001PG, I soaked way too many carpets due to no site glass.

I just don't like the 1 1/2" hose Rotovac puts between the site tube and the 2" vac port.

I run 2 inch all the way to the base, with the clear tube laced in with vinyl cuffs

I agree with you. All of the cleaning is happening on the outer diameter of the head. At some point I will move them out where they belong.
