Apr 12, 2011 #3 Bjorn Member Joined Oct 7, 2006 Messages 2,450 just the nature of pd blowers more rpms the more amps it's going to draw to get sufficient cf ms and lift making a stationary machine with 440 three phase I would have no problem turning a 6 blower with a 20 hp electric motor at great speeds hence why a bane only turns so fast with a 1 1/2 hp motor with less lift and cfm
