Thank you Pat, much appreciated.
I've been using these products and the heavy duty cleaner as a boost when needed, and I'm very happy with them. I'd like to know as much as possible.

  • Could you elaborate more on the significance of "Both are based on soda ash, citrate, and lactate."
  • Yes, the DFC 210 is stronger, however according to the info Chemspec provides (my understanding) it starts stronger and self neutralizes. Wouldn't it be still good as a pre-spray for wool? As DFC 105 on its own, both as a pre-spray or a cleaner is not very strong.
  • If 210 self neutralizes, do we really have to rinse with DFC 105?

Sometimes, it's a pain in the ass to get there.

To add a bonus to the North store.. they added a Dicks Drive In up the road in the parking lot of that grocery store on the corner of 99 and 220.

You ask really good questions Ofer,

Here is the best I have:

• Regarding the composition, citrate, etc.: what I mean by that is that the two products are similar in design but are fine tuned to control the pH of each. The DFC210, of course,
being somewhat higher pH.
• No, I would not recommend DFC210 on wool. It is not Wool Certified and the pH is still too high for wool during the dry time.
• Still recommend rinsing with DFC105 because you have to rinse with something. A water rinse could work but the extra “oomph” from DFC105 provides an extra level of cleaning
without leaving very much crystalline residue.
