uses an old style Oreck brush roll with soft bristles and that blue plate vibrates quite well.

No accessory hose sadly and pretty loud.

The brush can not be turn off but the vibration bar can, supposedly for hard surface. No rubber blade to keep sand from getting scattered.

Close but no cigar imo.

The
is designed specifically for use on name-brand Soft Style carpets like Caress, SmartStrand, Silk, and Soft Spring. Also featuring Sonic Cleaning Technology, the Soft Carpet®’s unique venting system and brush roll and extra-large front wheels allow it to “float” on the surface to reduce resistance while you push.

Lol!! I thought I'd hear from Taco on that subject first!!
They work good while they work, they just don't seem to last very long.

I've had one of these for over a year, much better then the purple navigator, Home Depot sell's them on Black Friday for $127.00 found them for $149 online to.

This one has a huge dust cup just buy extra filter's and wash and replace every couple days.

I must've had bad luck, I went through 3 of them when I was doing house cleaning.
I also had that steam mop, it never got that hot and then within a few months it stopped working completely.

Throw my 2 cents in here. That vibrating vacuum, wouldnt it just shake things down into the carpet and then suck whats on the surface? The top of the carpet would be clean and down in a little also clean cause it all vibrates down to the bottom... Thoughts?

Still deep cleaning here with my used Kirby.

The bags of soil weigh so much.
