So I like the whole butler package and all 61k plus tax and shipping,

But I also have a friends and family discount through Ford,

My local dealer gave me a 33k quote with discount for 3.7 liter v6 2500.

So I go on truecar.com

And the deals are much better when going out of the area all within a 60 mile radius approx $29,500.

A dealer in San Bernardino when I told him about my friends and family discount he said he could get the van down to $26,180.00 that's with about 4K in rebates if you don't use thier financing.

Out the door about $29318 that's with tax and financing.

To me that sounds like a deal.

I wonder how much the size of the engine has to do with the heat output. Traditionally, in the past, we always wanted a v8

I guess the Butler for me isn't about the van...if it was I wouldn't buy it either. 10 year warranty on the Butler and I like that is is so simple and components so basic and solid. I wouldn't buy a Butler without the upgraded blower and heat either.

Dude if your gonna go direct drive at least check out the pro 1200. Big blower, big heat exchanger, water pond, shelving, in a one ton 6.0 liter extended Chevy for $59k. I'm taking delivery of my second one in a couple weeks.

Butlers max 4.7 blower is rated at 500 cfm I don't think there's any difference between that and the 4.8 in the pro1200.

I did look at both.

If you're going to go direct drive, Butler seems to be the way to go. Powerful, reliable and what looks like the best warranty in the business. Simple to operate for your employees.

The thing is my 2011 Chevy express has about 80k miles and my 405 about 6000 hours. I own them out right so selling them and putting cash in the bank while financing a newer unit feels like a good idea.
12-15 k used after a little work?

Just bought 2014 Ford E250 9,500 miles. Buy em if you can. They are holding their value more then the Transits. Better? Probably, definitely battle tested. Cost more then a Transit 2015 with more miles??? Liven the dream. Now I have to paint it Green!:yoda:
