I'm really surprised we aren't seeing more machines converted to propane for in-plant use. Could be put on rollers like this one and outside when the weather is warm enough and brought in doors in cold winter areas.

When I was with another company many years ago, we used a Hydramaster slide-in mounted onto a heavy duty dolly for our in plant machine. Just had to push it outside to use it.

An auxiliary gas can and a BBQ propane tank and it was good to go.

Can it pump hot water if you can find some?
Most pumps can handle up to 140 degrees f. You could run household hot water to it and it would give hot enough water for rugs. I normally use 100-120 degree f on rugs with some exceptions. Have a propane heater for synthetic rugs.
