Nissan NV Trouble (again)

I had some dome light trouble with my NV. Took it in and they said it needed a new wiring harness that mine was defective. They required a whole day during the week and wanted all loose items removed from the van so they would have room to work. What a pain in the ass that was.

Here it is about 2 weeks or less later .. its doing it again. 2 days ago the front dome wouldnt come on. Last night the front middle was off then 2 min later both middle wouldnt come on but the front was on. WTH, WTF jeepers creeper !! I dont want to go thru that again. They did say at the time of purchase if anything broke down by defect 3 times in a row they would exchange my van for a new van. Sounds good but not. They prolly wont cover insulation in the walls, gas line tap, TM install, lettering et-effin-c....

Anyone else with a NV have this issue? I hope the heat and or humidity of my TM isnt causing this problem.

I'm sorry but honestly I could care less if my dome lights working. The speaker in the door of my truck on the driver side never worked. I'm not wasting my time to take it in for them to look at it. I finally did about a month ago. The wire running to the speaker was cut straight across , probably with a razor. It's been broke since 2006. It's a work truck and I care about it being reliable and that's it.

Its not just the cab lighting .. its a total of 4 from front to back. I like having lights to see what Im reaching for on the shelves or reaching in drawers for repair/replacement parts etc .. or working on the TM !!

I almost never go to the dealer for warranty work unless forced. I tend to just fix it myself. Takes to much time and aggravates me. When I brought my Ford in for warranty work they said the problems where two different departments and would take all day. Fixed it myself.
