Good evening , I have taken my truck to the shop several times for my brakes slipping not one place can figure out why they keep shipping , I am a one truck owner at this time and Ive had several close calls but i still need to be able to work ,
Has anyone else has problems with their brakes slipping and joone could figure out why and if so if you ever did find out why please let me know I just had my transmission rebuilt which took alot of my money and 3weeks of missed work I can't miss anymore

if the seal on the rear axel is worn the oil can get past it and soak the pads. since most of the braking is done with the front i wouldn't think that was it but on a big truck the back certainly helps. it doesn't take much and it could cook off not showing any evidence. they need to look a little deeper to tell.

I recently had a similar thing on a Chevy Astro van. When braking, all of a sudden the brakes would lose pressure. It was a faulty master cylinder.
