2 years ago I cleaned the kitchen tile floor for this retired couple about a mile and a half from my house..
Today I went out to clean some furniture, screenshot below..
Halfway through she said "are you still interesting and redoing our caulking on our kitchen counters that you mentioned the last time?"

I told her absolutely and while I cleaned the furniture I let her peruse my color sampling kit and after I had wrapped up with the furniture cleaning and we started talking about dates, her husband says "honey do you want him to look at the bathtub" and she oddly said no that's okay I'll handle it..
I stuck my nose and said well what's going on maybe I can help..

Turns out the original caulking which was color matched to the walls lasted about 2 years and then the flimsy fiberglass bathtub they chose and it's inherent flex caused that product to fail so she took it upon herself to put some dap siliconized caulking in, which failed within 2 weeks...
Once I told them about how I go about it with removal sanitizing 3 days of drying and filling the bathtub up with water before I install the RTV product she then agreed to go for that too..
Nice little up sale for a home with no carpeting installed.
As you can see on today's invoice I cleaned her kitchen tile today for free so I could test my brush glide and what do you know, I got a $50 tip...
She and I were strictly business talk but hubby and I talked about jeeps, litter bugs, snakes, covid, unemployment, my asshole riding by who didn't call me to clean his carpet, plumbing, water softeners, olefin area rugs and vacuum cleaners, community cleanups and getting the joys of getting older...
