We use an alkaline rinse with ample water softeners as a rinse product at a higher dilution rate.

It is better at suspending soil than any commercial acid rinse.

Says easy rinsing? How can a rinse be easy rinsing? rinse it with more rinse?

I feel the same as you Kellie. After running my Bane for a few years and getting bigger and more difficult cleaning jobs, (and a bigger ego)I felt like the "Bane Clene Way" was the wrong way... limiting my choices as a cleaner..not to mention lack of heat, vacuum, and pressure. So I saved my money and reconditioned my Steam Way Problematic and switch over to using my system just as you described. Yes, it gave me more freedom to tailor my chems but then I found myself trying every dang type of prespray, booster, emulsifier, hot sauce additive, etc etc.. I think what made the real difference between the to systems was I could clean faster with my Steam Way... but the cleanings themselves were basically the same.. maybe a little less post spotting too. It wasn't so bad the Bane way.. it was simple and fool proof method even though it was basically "one size fits most".
You mix up your prespray special for 2 different cleanings in 1 day now.. so did I and my emulsifier was ready to go for whatever I needed it for the whole day. It actually simplified things in some respects..especially for a beginner. No right or wrong, just different.
