So i get the plates made to cap the heat exchangers area, so i can "de-scale" these manually

I was wondering why the 3 way was being funny...

took them out and both are plugged like NO-ONES business...

I have

CLR
Rust remover
bowl cleaner
muratic
jabbed/hammered a screw driver in

I EVEN USED A FOOKIN 3/8 SPADE BIT...

after the acid it has basiclly made it like cement paste :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

I mean hard water deposits yea...but WTF gives here

and do you think its through the whole tubing??



Thank God for my burner...or i would be pisssedddddddd

so i drilled it out with a cement bit :shock: :shock: :shock:

still had problems....

though it did puncture the bottom...i miss measured :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops:

so i decided to cut across the tubes...broke my damn sawzall bit :x :x :x

and it had cementy type dust come out of all of them...ill post pics if i see anything...



anyone got a spare laying around???

I've never descaled mine in ten years or so...ouch!

I do have a spare....sawzall blade.

Seriously, I'm sorry for troubles. Makes me love my little giant heaters more everyday. But then again, I'm a fresh water rinser. :lol:
