Turns out that the occupants were growing POT! They (college kids) had a pretty nice little set up. At least I was impressed, lol. I hadn't seen any that impressive since cheech and chong Anyway....they ask me if I can write a statement saying the water damaged their hydrophonic (sp) equipment and digital scales, but didn't mention the pot they were growing. I couldn't believe that shit! Anyway, I notified the manager and put the ball in his court. Should I have called the police as well?

I had a major grow room set up like that when I was young and wild. It was awesome. A buddy of mine who was an engineer helped me set it up. We used my spare Teel pumps from my Vac11 machine to operate the hydroponic system. Everything was automatic. The 1000 watt metal halide bulb and the four surrounding eight foor grow lamps took the seeds to nine feet plants in about thirty days. Aluminum foil on the walls. It was like summer in Jamaica in the middle of January. The cops would have had a field day on me. They really need to legalize this stuff.

Right or wrong, I was there to do a job, not to turn into Mr. Policeman. Part of me felt that I had to respect the privacy of the residents, afterall, is it really any of my business? Another part of me felt that what they were doing was wrong and something had to be done about it. I really wouldn't have had a problem with any of it if they hadn't asked me to write a statement. Anyway, what is done is done. My gut told me to let the manager handle this situation, so I left it at that. In a side note, RH is under 15% here, so open the windows I did. I hope no one climbs through a window to steal there stash.

....but I didn't turn him in. Now a meth lab......I might drop an anonomous tip on that. thats dangerous for everybody around.
