I'm buying some 35% hydrogen peroxide tomorrow from the pool supply store, how much distilled water do I dilute it with two equal 12% or 40 volume?

Wtf does that equate to in how many ounces of peroxide to I mix with how many ounces of distilled water

Mix .342 oz of 35% with 1 oz of distilled water and Bam, you've got 1.342 oz of rtu 40 volume!

Or alternatively you could pour 44 oz of 35% into a clean gallon jug and top off with distilled water.

Do when you have mixed up your favorite dilution, how long does it remain effective?

bit more than I'd normally buy, but got a mall thats talking about getting sanitised every few days

So are you saying that after being mixed with distilled water, as long as you keep it in the fridge, it won't lose its strength?

maybe Robert Mann or Tom Monahan can help.

By volume and percentages, figures are different results/values.
At least that was my understanding when discussing it with Robert Mann--
But I'm drunk and have the same brain functions when I was in Peru and claimed the southern hemisphere rotated opposite of the north.--
that was for you @anon 😜

My gawd, and I complicate things...
1 part H2O2 (35%).
2 parts purified water.
Add water to container first, then peroxide.
The resulting solution will be 11.66 (repeating) percent peroxide solution.
