Those of you who run an 1.5" wand, do you prefer to use a whip hose or do you use a converter cuff and run 2" straight to the wand?

So weird
15’ tapered whip. The wand end has a regular 1.5” slip cuff and the hose has a female cool cuff that just slips over my 2” hose slip cuff

Easiest thing to do is a 10 ft whip. You won't have any appreciable drying time difference using a reducer cuff. The whole purpose of the whip is to reduce the weight and stiffness of the hose, making easier to use. I'd love to have a tapered whip if they were more durable. I heard Tom may have something.

2" to 1 1/2". Its just quicker to swap over to 2" tools this way as it just pulls out on the 2'' hose then a 2'' bore wand can be attached.

My mistake... I meant 2” to 1 1/2”.

We did a job last year, and there was a resto company in the next building. He WAS running 1.5 all the way....IDK how long his run was, but I watched him peel off at least 100’...
I’m sure that carpeting was really dry by the time he finished...
