These ones are all in the hoods of Ak-Rowdy, and they are bad. I may even have to buy one of those STOOPIT turbo-vacs if I end up doing as many of these as I think I will (3-4 a week). I may also put an inverter on my truck to scrub off of, cuz they are paying me well.

use a broom to sweep the chunks before you use the turbo (if you buy one)
also, you'll need a vac relief opening some where, otherwise, even at idle, a TM will cook a turbo before too long.

BTW, you can also use the turbo as scrubber.
It makes a mess of them though.
Hosing off when done will help, but they need disassembled to clean right

I need to stop telling you all my secrets.
You're too close , too young/hungry and too aggressive at sales.....

and when/if you go multi-truck, I may have to plan some sabotage........

I'm gonna pull a Hyde here and tell you if you were to pull that carpet up and wash it in a pit the water would run black for an hour.

After you cleaned it.

That ecological nightmare should be burned.

The browning/wicking will be insane. With or with out a pre vac.

Which he should have

You'll say it's a board myth but then again, 2 months ago you thought a GLS was the best pre scrubber.

Mikey wouldn't have padded that. He's just trying to get me mad, so this thread will draw. And, it was over 2 years ago, not 2 months.

He said it was a foreclosure. No electric..... They know they are gonna take a beating on the sell price. They also know the new owners will MORE THAN LIKELY replace it. The bank just wants to make as good of an impression as possible without it stinking to hell and back. Nuke it, crank the heat, your favorite emulsifier and slot glide it. If the contact said it looked good you did good.

Chris, go to Walmart buy the largest inverter they have. It has clamps you can put on the battery, carry a 100ft heavy duty extension cord and vacuum till your done. Works great for me.

I keep a generator on my V for just these types of situations.

Pay special attention to the Try Not To Be A Hack session when you go to SFS that you won on this board and NOT tmf.

I'd much rather pay attention on the other days, the, you know, the "How to build a professional carpet cleaning business so you don't have to clean when your 40, unless you want to" Day.

Btw, I had a comp. virus keeping me from the sites I spend the most time on for the last week, so KMA!

Point is, I was hired to remove as much soil as possible given the circumstances. I'm not going to tell them to replace when their paying me to clean. So if that makes me a hack, and I don't think it does, then f uck it...

I think meAt is over 40.

yes +10

I suspect SFS wouldn't help me though
(not that I think I wouldn't learn plenty)

it's more a matter of what I call the "treadmill syndrome" I suffer from.

I'll explain the T-S.

I have a top of the line TM down stairs.
I know how it works and how much better off I'd be **IF** I actually used it regularly.

ALL the knowledge in the world is of little value use if you don't apply

I am thinking about installing one in the truck for this reason. Just make sure the truck is running It'll kill the batt in no time!

You could hook it up to your truckmount battery as well(depending on the size)

A cheaper option is to get a shopvac attachment for carpet. It adapts quite easily. True enough it does not have a power head but you might be supprised how much dry particulate it will remove hooked to a truck mount. I do this now vs the turbo cat. It is faster and practically indestructable. Unlike the turbines that turn the cat.
