A counter rotating brush is a much better tool to agitate with, prior to HWE. I would forget fiber plush pads except on commercial grade carpet or stairs (if you must).
Definently not; I do see a trend towards OP following HWE in high traffic areas. And also post padding to quicken drying and lift hazes sometimes left after carpet dries.
But as a stand alone cleaning system for VLM / Cimex and Encap probably my favorite. I don't offer VLM; my customers ask for only hwe.
just another tool in your
tool box period.
It has its places
we did around 30000 sq ft today 2 cimexs and a gofer person
3 people took us 9 hrs including lunch no bs
I had no idea how long it would take i was impressed and cust was a happy
camper because he did not have to come back on sat and baby sit us.
NOw the carpet was 5 yrs old in a office setting and was not soiled hardly at all

with 2 trucks runnin.ANd we did hwe the stairs and foyer today
Hope this helps RAndy
