Orbot Vibe Vs 175

So There really seems to be a niche for wood floor cleaning here. Especially the ones all caked up with mop and glo. I’m actually getting pretty good at removing that crap with the 175 and mop. Lol.
Also, I would also love to get into the encap game! Very little experience with encap.

So my question is, Should I upgrade and buy a new 175 or get the orbot Vibe.

The orbot is quite a bit more money Which is fine if it would make cleaning wood floors and encap easier and help me be more productive.

Any info on the machines would be wonderful!

I am using an older sprayborg and it will do everything a 175 will do and more. With the right pads you can do wood and hard surface floors just like a 175 but where it shines is encapping commercial carpet. It is fast, efficient, and will make you a ton of money.

What are the right pads for wood? I just use the superzorbs with my Vibe and a neutral cleaner. Pretty simple.

I use scrub pads for encapping carpets. Either the beige pads from orbit or white polishing pads. Use can use any green, red, black cleaning or stripping pads for vct strip seal and wax. Super zorbs will probably works well on wood and laminate floors. Orbit has a tapered brush that will probably work well on tile. Never tried it but it's designed to get into the grout lines better. Lots of pads for different uses.

Brody to answer your question, get the Vibe if the price is right.
. I have an ECO-14 and it has been a real eye opener. What I love about it is the on-the-fly handle adjustment which lets me maneuver in confined areas like closets and cubicles.
For wood, a soft pad or bonnet and neutral cleaner will clean and burnish beautifully.

After getting the vibe, my 175s have just sat. The difference in price you can make up in a few easy encap jobs.

I cleaned 10,000 sqft in six hours with mine today. I’m still amazed from customer feedback. ‘Cause even though I use it quite often, it seems like cheating. But I’ve only had to abandon once and fire up the truckmount. I’ve had it maybe 8 months and it’s paid for itself several times over.

They are great machines but a 175 can do quite well also. To me where the Vibe or Orbot shine, is anyone can run them with a few minutes training. A 175 takes aquired skill that takes time and plenty of space to train.

Vibe: 1725 small dime sized oscillations per minute.

There's no comparison. Picture carpet fiber being hit with a big looping arc of a rotary, or with the small penetrating oscillations of an orbital. The agitation factor of the Vibe is through the roof compared to a rotary. Plus it's easier to train a new tech since there's no side-to-side torque like a rotary.
