has anyone tried both?

if you have tried both, can you share any bene's of 1 over the other?

i'm wondering, is the Orbot as aggressive as the CX20?

at only 82 lb's, the Orbot is much lighter. does this mean the CX will Encap clean better?

thanx for any feedback --- Derek.

I've used both but only for in plant testing.

I can't see a difference in cleaning, both do a good job if you're using comparable pads and chem's.

We purchased the Orbot over the CX20/Brute more on looks and design, not because we thought it cleaned better.

The Hos machines come with extra weight if needed.

and you can run 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 inch drivers all on the same machine.

You can run different size pad drivers on an Orbitec CX machine as well.

If you buy a Hruby Orbot you don't have to deal with Clark.

some clarifications need to be made by those who sell the Orbot.

i spoke with Jeff at Hruby today:

1) pad driver sizes = 15" and 19"
2) it only oscillates a half inch in either direction, so the most it can be advertised is 16" and 20".

i dunno where ppl are getting 17/19" and 21" (and what in the world does 17/19 even mean???)

weighs 82 lb's w/ out the Sprayborg.

w/ Sprayborg it weighs in at a nice 102 lb's.

you can buy added weight for it, as Mike suggested above: 30 lb's for $125.00 is what Jeff told me.

hopefully i'll see mine in 3 weeks...cant wait for the new toy

tx for the feedback fellas!

Clark has given away machines, his time and knowledge, fixed other peoples problems at no charge, helped competitors, that's the kind of person I like to deal with.

Clark is a great guy, I agree.

I have two of his machines (that he gave me, no charge) and I love them.
I just have difficulty referring his company for machines and supplies when he wont return calls or follow through on orders consistently. I hear it over and over again.

I've talked to him about this as honestly as possibly and it really is a quick easy fix.

He NEEDS to hire an assistant or 3 and delegate responsibilities..

If I didn't know better I would think that Clark himself designs, builds, ships and answers the phones all by himself over there.

To be honest, I think this Rug Badger project has completely over whelmed him.

I'm lusting after the Orbot with spray borg. Anyone want to trade for a slightly used Cimex?

It looks like there is still a bit of confusion about our new multi-driver system.

There are 2 driver sizes: 15" and 19" (actual OD)

The 15" driver will run 17", 18" and 19" pads, as well as the larger 20"+ cotton pads.

The 19" driver will run 21", 22" and 23" pads, as well as the larger 20"+ cotton pads.

The base of the Orbot is 17" which keeps the base small and compact. For residential and/or small compact areas we recommend that you use the small driver with the small pad sizes and the large driver for commercial wide open areas.

With this system 1 machine lets you conquer the best of both worlds, residential and commercial.
