We have a large project with Flowtex carpet I'm anxious to see how the Zippers do on that stuff. Such weird floor covering, it's a little strange cleaning get it with a wand.

You've made me so sick of Zippers, with these never ending videos, that I almost wouldn't take mine off the van yesterday.

Flowtex carpet, does it look more like a felt flooring. My church installed a new type of carpet. First I'd ever seen it. The directions from the maufacturer say to flood with a garden hose and extract. We cleaned it with 750 psi. It flushed beautifully. The water in the window looked like chocolate milk. The hardest part is seeing where you've been. It doesn't show any marks at all.

We cleaned it several years ago. It is strange, you see the dirty water pushing from the wand. Nothing like cleaning carpet.

Quite expensive over here so not a lot of it. Flotex is a flocked fibre so don't use solvents.
Do a test to see if previous cleaner has used detergent. If yes then you may have a lot of rinsing to do.
Generally we find that it cleans up ok with just water and no prespray.
I have used Drimaster on it running at higher pressure (about 600).

I went to the flotex sight and I don't believe that's what they installed. It is similar. Whatever it is it cleans super easy and fast. They spent a ton in the little chapel getting the sound just right and then changed to this carpet. Totally destroyed their work. The cgd absorbs sound but this stuff doesn't at all.
