Ok,Mike next dirty pathway you run across put your reading glasses on pull the fibers apart and see what I'm talking about its still brand new. Why do you want to try and clean that, it's a waste of time and will probably just attract dirt by leaving solution and dirt.
It is good to be back!!!
Gawd I love a good method debate.

Especially when I've done both and my opponent hasn't...

I find big 17" machines to be too big and awkward to use in the vast majority of occupied residential units, keeping in mind most units in my market are limited on space.
Some people are just used to small tools. :winky:

I just bought a new Hawk 17" dual speed. I really like the high speed for agitating the spots/traffic areas. Seems to really help. The handle adjust is on the bottom like most 175's but I'm use to it so no problem there. There is some different ergonomically however from other 175's I've used as it feels like I need to have the handle adjusted lower than I want it. For some reason it seems a bit unstable, like when you try to have the handle set too high on a "normal" machine. Usually for me it's around the belt line. This Hawk needs to be lower.

The safety switch is also taking some getting use to.

I've only used it 2 days now so I'm sure I'll get use to it. I hope.

Just saying, no matter how you clean stay away from the 80% of fiber that is still brand new

I like a 17" with 1.5hp dual capacitor motor. Can also drive a 20" disc easily. Add a solution tank for shower feed and weight.

I later bought a 15" machine, but it's pretty light.

The up high release feature on the mytee 175 is very nice but the whole machine needs to lose 15 pounds
