Paint question.

I went to do about a sq ft latex paint spot. I used POG and the paint seemed to be coming up really well but there is still a black spot in place where the brown paint was. The black spot is about 6 inches big right in the middle.
Never had that happen and was just wondering if anyone knew what it was and if there is any way to get it up.

Was this on CGD carpet? Could be old nasty adhesive that the POG pulled up

No, it was really new residential carpet. Pretty nice carpet.

I've used Alsolv and orangel, really cuts the paint

A good POG should remove the paint.

All-Solv is another good paint remover with a little more odor.
