Paintin' the shed

Lady wants me to paint the exterior walls and roof of a 12' x 12' metal shed.

Paint it all the same color. It'd have to be powerwashed first, then sprayed.

I have no idea what to charge. Anybody know?

James, it "shouldn't" take you more than a normal day.
Couple hours at most to pressure wash.
couple hours to spray it (depending how much taping off is needed)

add an hour or two for set-up, tear down and clean-up

call it 8 hours w/travel time and picking up materials ..8 hrs x "what ever you need/want to make an hour" plus materials

I'd figure 5 gal of HIGH QUALITY paint
Something like Sherwin Williams Duration (insist on contractor pricing) otherwise it's like fiddy bukz a gal :shock:

i think the price I have negotiated with my Sherwin Williams rep is $36-38(?) gal.
It's expensive, but it will stick to any clean surface
