Dogs got into a box of pancake mix... got the power all over the carpet. Of course, they proceeded to lick the batter powder off the carpet and now it is a goopy semi-crusty mess scattered all over a 3x3 area through the carpet fibers.

Any ideas what's the best product or method to remove it?

Many thanks,
Bill

Easy one if you ask me......vacuum it up as much as you can. If you do it like ron that's all you'll have to do.

You might try using cold water to remove the batter instead of hot. I know that when my wife cleans up after making bread she uses cold water to clean the bowls. Hot water just to makes a goey mess. The hot water seems to cause the dough to cook.
PS her bread is very good.
