Paul Demers

I just learned on Facebook that Paul unfortunately passed away from lung cancer that was discovered too late. He was a member of the board here and had a lot of great posts as I was just searching through.

Very nice guy, talked to him several times.

He did vlm on an industrial scale.

When Paul came to us to start his business, he casually commented that he had been a commander on a submarine.

You don't get to that place without having a sharp mind and the ability to deal with people effectively.

Paul always wanted to do his best, and give his best. When things didn't go quite right on a job, he took it hard, and would go to great lengths to solve his customers' problems at any cost.

He was very exacting on the standards he set for himself in his profession, yet very understanding and patient when other's didn't live up to expectations. He handled any complaints with anything that didn't go quite right in our professional relationship kindly, and I know he was like that with others.

I'll miss his quick wit, his dry "Connecticut Yankee" humor, and his gentle decency.

BTW, anybody knows how the family is doing? Do they need help? Do they need to sell equipment etc? I think that's where we could help the most.

Justin Foulk @jwfoulk12 serves the same area and I had let Justin know of Paul's passing yesterday. He is going to send out flowers and condolences and let them know that if they need anything to get in touch with him.

As Hoody said, I sent flowers and condolences today and just told them I'd be happy to help in any way I could. I had never met Paul personally but have run into his guys before. He seemed like a really great guy and will definitely be missed.
