Got a call from one of my tech's and he said that my performer was sounding like a machine gun! He ran outside and turned the machine off and cannot figure out where the sound is coming from because it's so loud.

Any ideas as to what that might be? I was thinking the blower may be done for?

blower would be more "banging" than a machine gun.
I had gears go on mine. I didn't need to guess where they noise was coming from.

Water pump... dang.

Which one is worse to replace, water pump or a blower?

"sounds like a machine gun" is hardly anything to go on as far as trying to diagnose over the internet....

Hold your computer up to your machine so we can hear it..

Sorry couldn't resist.

Let us know what it was after you get it into the shop so that we will know what is wrong when someone says it sounds like a machine gun.

You could NOT get it to KNOCK....with a 10lb...Sledgehammer"...
These motors will cRuiSe through 10,000 hours if maintained... :!:

Check your Waste tank...There could be "ScHwInn BiCyClE"..in there with a CloThEs-Pin
& a Baseball Card ...attached to the spoke of the WhEEL...

Breakdowns are NO fun...

BUT...As Lee says...Check each system for the NoiSe...
