How many of you use a smaller version of quickbooks, or similar program to track your personal finances? (nothing to do with your business)

I have been doing it with an Excel Spreadsheet for a while, aside from my check book. But I am trying this QuickBooks simple start, to track where I'm spending my money the most and see where its going. I like the idea of being able to view a report, so if times get rough I can crunch down, and create a proper budget.

Anyone else do something similar ?

I find it easier on a spread sheet. I added every receipt for one year. It had never stopped the bleeding. The only way to track finances is not spend money. Try that with kids in college. Work harder and make more is the other option

quicken works great more than you need for personal bookkeeping

Now with an expanding family this will help you keep on top of income and expenditures.
