That has been my only concern with the obviously well made zipper.
Would love to see some type of side skirt for it or something.
We in the more humid climates cannot afford to pump up the humidity in a room
nor do I like breathing the vapor all day.

The first thing I did to my Zip13" after initial testing was to skirt-in the vac chamber. I used Gorilla tape and contoured with an exacto knife. Seems to be holding up well. The second and third things, I posted earlier, but the 'gurus' haven't picked up on my suggestions yet.

We are in the process of having a mold made for the Zipper that will completely enclose the sides by changing the way the glide retainer is made. The new glide retainer will only require the two screws that currently hold it in place, so any Zipper can be modified. If you look at the SS, the sides are completely enclosed. If we tried to put a skirt between the glide retainer and the carpet, it would drag on thicker pile. If you were using a wand at the temperature Mark is running, you would have much more steam in the air and wouldn't be able to see the wand.

Thanks for all of your feedback Rob! We really appreciate it, keep the suggestions coming!

I noticed in a couple of Mark's videos, that the sides were completely enclosed on the newer models of SS's. Continuous improvement is great Eric! My skirting is the thickness of two pieces of tape, covers the preiously exposed area in like the skirting on a hovercraft, so no drag.
