A few shots during a polish on a fiberglass sink:

Half and half, fully done, sink bowl before, sink bowl after.

Nothing fancy. Makita with 6" Harbor Freight polishing sponge disks, Maguires (sp?) scratch removal compound followed by polishing compound. All at slow speed, with an occasional spritz of water. About fifteen minutes.

A simple buff out. Now if I could just get around the fixtures, this could sell. This job was me placating Herself, who takes a dim view of me buying stuff before Christmas.

Very good improvement would like to know how long it lasts

For sure. Well, it was installed in 1979 and pretty well worn. The scratches are now shiny, but I made no effort to hone the surface because it is fiberglass, after all. It isn't waxed, just buffed a bit.

I'd expect it to last intil it just gets all scuffed up again.

A coupla before and afters of a corian countertop. Customer just wanted it spiffed up a bit, not fully sanded. She's happy, so all is well.
