Can anyone recommend a good source to buy pond liner for rug pit. All the ones here local are not large enough

Do a search for EPDM pond liner. You'll find lots of sources. If you want a ready-built system, search for auto and truck wash mats.

Look for a roofing supplier in the area. Its the same as rubber roofing.
