All you guys flying into San Francisco should go over the bridge, enjoy the views, than set your GPS for Half Moon Bay, then Santa Cruz for an awesome drive down the coast If you come down 101 or 280 you are really ripping yourself off.

I have 2 friends that just bought an older house in Half Moon Bay, stripped it bare, and are finishing it up as we speak. Since it was a fixer-upper, it only set them back $500,000. They sold their original home there about 4 years ago, headed to Madison Wisconsin, and after 3 lousey winters there, decided to back to NorCal. Ah, the life of the wealthy.....

We had some friends/Clients how live in Atherton and then on the same lake as us in Grand Rapids, MN. On our way up, took the Half Moon Bay tour.....A MUST SEE!

My wife was so excited. Everytime the car stopped, she was out and running. Just like kids up here seeing all the sights and sounds! So much to see and do....we are unfortunately probably not going to be able to see it all

We sure are going to try to see as much as we can though!

I am happy with my little spot in hell....

Nice blue skies......mild to warm winters.....no D.O.T laws to follow....mountains...( and yes Richard we have animals )...

Now if I wanted to deal with the salt air tearing up the back of my truck....the higher cost of living....smog.....people driving like they are insane...
earthquakes...the chance of falling off into the ocean...and having to hook a catalytic converter to my ass if I want to fart in public....I'm there........

I like California...but not a place I would like to live...just visit...

I love Kansas but this winter has been so bad I hated it almost as badly as if I lived in Omaha, NE and gawdd knows that a hellhole if there ever was one.

Today its sunshine and 67 degrees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hot in the truck, hard to believe two weeks ago it was sub zero temps and 15 inches on the ground.

All but gone now!

Yes we did....we hit it all. Just got back from Golden Gate Bridge and ChinaTown. Lots of driving trying to see the State. Now to get real serious for Mikey'sfest!

Today was the Golden Gate Bridge and ChinaTown! Took the Half Moon Bay route along Highway 1 back again. Beautiful!

My rental vehicle is going to need an oil change when they get it back!
