are they thinking your going to take paint out of the carpet for free? I had a customer think that once. Once. now he is no longer a customer, and he still has paint everywhere in his carpet. painters figured, ehh the carpet guy will get it out. Wrong. its considered specialty spot removal for any large amount of area. yeah a spot here and there fine. but not over spray and drips everywhere.

I went to the office and they are nice, it's a big place and I really like to keep them happy. I'm sure I'll get it. It's funny what people think, they want an estimate and agree, they just don't think I want to do it right away. Idk maybe they think there is a lot more to it,
Your right! paint is no joke, I'm sure it's just that they may tramp dirt, kick up dust and that, seems best to clean the carpet after the work.
