I went back to OP the Berber today.
His couch was back in place..
When I was explaining to her that yesterday the benefit of the post padding and using an end cap to deal with any potential residues she totally got it and was very interested in the science behind it all, interested in the point that I had her spray some of the shout spotter as well as some of the resolve spotter into some little dishes so that she could see what was drying up in her carpet, see the pictures below.
I left her some of my PCP so she could see what it would dry up to
At the very end of the appointment I told her how I'm not really challenged by cleaning carpets anymore and really only do this part time but that moments like her sofa story make it all worthwhile. She said she spent a lot of time thinking about it and actually cleaned up some cracker and peanut crumbs from under the cushions which she wasn't able to do up until now.
It was another teary-eyed moment and I reiterated that I can only hope that Paula someday feels as fondly of my old stinky chair as she does his..
