idreadnought said:I have never overpaid on shipping. Actually I rarely ever pay anything for shipping because I order 400 dollars worth of stuff at a time. Thats not that much really and it saves a ton of money. In the rare event I don't need 400 worth I order from the website that gives an exact shipping price based on total cost of items purchased.
Planning ahead a little will help you out tremendously.
Ruff Hewn said:We are always up to a "side-by-side test"
@ an equivalent dollar amount of product.
if you want to send me a sample pint and Les sends me a pint, I'll side by side them on a trashed sec 8 rag
I've tried the 1st and 2nd S&G formulations, but I understand they've tweeked it a third time
(after Harper gave Les some feed back)
so i don't know what the 3rd generation S&G will do
and I've never tried Powermax
so if ya'll want to send me a pint each, I'll "personally" side by side them .
I don't have any bias for or against either product or person.
Truth is, I'd call it as I see it even if it belonged to rotovac...whom I DO have a bias AGAINST

i can dig it, Joe
I'd be square about it and mix RTU "dime for dime" amounts
I've tried some of Larry's products and found his dilute rates to be higher than really needed.
By contrast, I've tried some of Les's products and found them not effective enough at the dilute rates he suggests and needed more product.
To be fair to Les, nearly ALL the dilutes rates manufactures tout are lower than what's needed for soiled carpets .
Larry seems to be the odd one
Why do you not like Rotovac?
it's a long story, Mike
But i was lied to.
I couple/three years ago I wanted a HF electric sprayer to replace ours that was looking a little ratty/beat up for res work
I knew HF discontinued the model i wanted (they were hawking the new Omni)
RV had one listed on their website (still do)
I called and the salesman he said they had them "in stock"...cool.
so I specifically asked him to "physically" check stock.
Cause I "knew" they had been discontinued for some time and weren't available.
(I had to talked to several suppliers that had them listed before i called RV)
"yessir" he assured, they have them "in stock"
Cool beans , so i gave them my card number and bought one.
i got a call 20 minutes latter saying they couldn't get any cause they're discontinued .
"OK, Skippy, I knew that ..so WHY DID YOU TELL ME YOU HAD THEM IN STOCK!?!?!
I asked you to PHYSICALLY check stock!!
YOU said you HAD THEM!!
YOU charged my card and didn't have them.
refund my money NOW!"
"will do", he said
" it will take appx 3 days before the refund to you card shows up"
"Get a manager on the phone , please" i asked
told the dude what happened and how I was VERY upset .
The dick brain tries to sell me another elect sprayer for $270.
i look at the site while on the phone and see it's that cheap Chinese POS Hudson sprayer .
i lost my cool and went off on the dick head ..told him I could buy that same Chinese PIECE OF SHIT at Harbor Freight for $75 bukz ..then hung up.
I'll never buy a damn thing from those fcks
YEA YOU ROTOVAC !!
I don't GAS if you're a sponsor here or not
You're a bunch of PUKES as far as I'm concerned
have a good day![]()

I hate to use my customers for guinea pigs with ever changing chemicals, especially when I don't know it's coming.

Larry Cobb said:The PowerMax was shipped today.
Find some filthy carpet with numerous stains for a good test.
For dollar to dollar:
2.59 oz/ gallon of PowerMax
vs.
1 oz/gallon of (other brand)
Thanks for doing the side-by-side testing.
Larry
P.S. Please compare the fragrance after cleaning also.

For the record, I don't have a dog in this fight, I like both Larry and Les.
