PowerMax PH Issues

I been checking the PH of the carpet after I clean with Cobbs PowerMax and I been getting a PH of 9 after cleaning. I been using 6oz of Fab-Set per gallon as a rinse @2gpm. Leaving the carpets with a PH of 9 seem high, I am going clean some carpets in a SUV this afternoon, I think I'll try running Fab-Set rinse @4gpm to see if that helps.

I think you are taking the Ph thing WAYYYYYYYYY too seriously.

Is it clean?
Is it dry?
Did you get paid?

If all of the 3 are "yes", I wouldn't worry about PH.

Re: PowerMax pH Levels

John;

You should end up with a pH of 8 or less.

Are you using a calibrated Extech meter ?

If using pH paper, make sure it is not too old, or already set to a different pH.

A pH of nine is fine,

for even stainresist carpet.
