Price Increase Postcard

Has anyone ever sent out and had any luck with a postcard saying something like

"Hurry and get your carpets cleaned this month, we have a small price increase going into effect Feb 1st. Call now and save!"

I had a friend joking about this type of "LAST CHANCE" marketing today at lunch and I thought worded carefully this might work. Trying to get the phone ringing a little better this Jan and Feb.

Give it a shot, you never know what works sometimes. I wouldn't mention the word "small" price increase though. It doesn't give much of an incentive since they know it's small.

Depending where you live and your dry times you may want to push upholstery and other services at this time of year too..just a thought.

The way we word it is...

Call by the end of the month and get LAST YEARS prices,
hurry offer good till 00/00/2008 Only!

By sending them out this way you also avoid the ole' .... Oh! I didn't know your prices were going/went up, and ... that's not what it cost last year?
