Priming and Bleeding Butler Chem Injection

Been getting some contacts for help in Bleeding or priming the Chem injection of Butlers.

This is for the newer style Chem injection systems.

On the older Square block Chem injections, (they have 4 bolts on top) they are different and this would not apply, but I could help people out with those as well....I just didn't have one today in the shop during this video...

But here is the procedure for current Chem injection systems...

I like the 570 turn it to prime, instead of a return line to the chemical jug its getting pulled into the vacuum helping to prime it faster.

dont set it to prime and forget it you'll empty your jug.

Yeah....that is the way to prime a new system really or after someone has messed up.....

Most of the time, you just put the hose in the new jug and keep going.....

But....every now and then....someone will experience something.....and are completely new at running Chem injection for the first time.... and need to know who to adjust the flow meter even.....

NO....you need water coming in to be able to Prime....

I was using the fresh water tank for water vs direct feed to the front panel to clarify for some....

I will have to try that. I have always shut off water inlet and made pump pull thru chem system to reprime.

That is exactly how I prime my Butler. Once you get used to it , it only takes about 45 seconds to prime it and then you are up and running
I usually do this every time I refill my rinse jug just to make sure no air bubbles are in the line and that it is metering correctly.
