so wonder what one hour on the vans engine is equivalent to in miles.

Scott, I was told that running van in park is the equivalent of 35 miles per machine hour.
I assume that with the pro-1200 it will also depend on if you run it in low,med or high.

If we average 1 hour to 30 miles then a van with 50k miles and 5000 hours would be like a van with 50,000 + (5000*30) = 200,000 miles. Most vehicles you put a fork into at 200k miles.

Noooo

Idle miles and city driving is not the same wear tear. My friend has a butler with 200k miles on van and 7-8k hours on butler, still runs. Although it is time ...

I had a crate engine put in the pro-2000 at 195000 miles and 6000 hours.

My 2003 pro 1200 has 150,000 miles and around 4700 hours. Just replaced some ball joints. Rides like new. Engine and tranny purr. My 2006 got a new tranny a few months ago. It always was funny feeling. Bought both used.

4700hours? That's like 8 hours use per week if you count 52 weeks per year working. That's not much use.

I hardly use the 2003 since I got the 2006 in 2009. Now redo your math.

Bro..that was not a jab at you at all..I was just thinking out loud if that
is all, that unit was running, then it will last forever.
