Any issues? Fuel pump burning up?
Fuel pump is a Chevy issue would still be under warranty!

That’s like saying butlers are bad because Saiger’s transmition is bad!

Actually at 120 hour a packed bearing on the tensioner pulley for the blower and pump.

Went bad and squealed.

Then SS DID A RECALL and changed the serpentine belt and put a different pulley on the clutch.

Preventive fix for a known issue I believe

Have you heard the stories about the pumps burning up when tanks is not full due to the heat and GM refusing to fix them?

No I haven’t heard of fuel pump issues.

Chevy fuel pump due to a bad wiring harness. I've changed too many, none in the last almost 2 years.


Hope GM fixed that, Lee. It's been over 2 years since our 2010 needed a new fuel pump. It's on it's 5th one now--all covered by GM until 2020 including the tows.
