Did a thick plush the other day, no issues.
Next job I get to I turn it on, move it 12 inches to the left and Pow! Dead.

RV decided that a bad circuit panel is the most likely culprit.

I hooked the replacement up this morning and no go, not a peep.

This afternoon I bypassed the switch to see if it had gone bad and still ZIP, nothing.

Did I kill the motor?

Has any other RV user had issues with the motors on these units?

My rx 20 is 15 years old and starts every time. LOL!

poor little motor probably could not take the friction of the carpet when you had to work it to death so it would not streak the thick plush carpet.....

did you check the brushes....did you by pass everything and go direct to motor....did you spin the head off and try it turning it on with out the extra weight......did you order the Hoss yet.....

Found the issue.
Positive came loose in my pig tail prong.

My apologies to Rotovac for wasting their time.
