Can anyone shed some light on this product for this dumb Aussie

A claim has been made on the Aussie forum by an ex-employee of prochem, who left to work for the opposition, but is now no longer working for them also.

He says that he was talking with the distributor for prochem Australia who told him about this great new product that dries in twenty minutes.

There is no mention of dilution rates, cost, nor msds sheets.

I don't know why prochem did not put up a post for forum members to discuss this new product, but down under, there are only a few manufacturers/distributors/suppliers that actually do post, although they lurk a bloody lot

Look forward to some constructive replies.

& Admirally funny ones also

Ooroo

Most any product can dry in 20 minutes with the use of fans, low humidity, proper ambient air temperature & light application. In the summer I usually get 45 minutes to an hour for dry times with air movers... Less in the winter.

Most any encapsulation product will dry in 15 minutes to an hour depending on conditions. If you are questioning whether the Prochem claim is true, I suspect it is.

There are several good encap products being made. Not sure which ones are available down south, but in addition to Prochem, you should be able to get our product - Encapuclean - and Rick's product -Releasit.

Scott is your product available in New Zealand do you know? To my knowledge the only encap chem available here is procaps later. All other encap chems we have to import from Australia or US.

Like Jeremy said, I think application is the key,if you need more suspension then you are going to need more solution and thus longer dry times.

The "claim" is that the polymer will be dry in 20 minutes and ready to be vacuumed out??

Our products are available through

The comment about wool di make me stop and think. Encap is usually used for commercial accounts. Not a lot of commercial wool here in the USA. But I did find some cleaners who had used encap on wool carpet in cainos and hotel. They did not put a stop watch to the drying time, but reported that it was "acceptable" and much less than when using HWE.
