Thank you for the response. No it is the high pressure SS heat exchanger. Prochem discontinued making them. It's expensive for an aftermarket one $1500.00. Not out of the question, but if I could get another year or two out of it with a few welds, I would rather.![]()
Vac Exhaust Radiator
Vacuum exhaust heat exchanger used on the Prochem Bruin series, Performer series, and early Legend truck mounts.www.jondon.com
My old Legend had a leak on that SS heat exchanger. It was in the rear of it, and I couldn't see where it was coming from until I pulled it out and tested it. It was just the sensor on the back of it that was only visible up close. So that might be what yours is.Thank you for the response. No it is the high pressure SS heat exchanger. Thanks Matt. I will look closer. Is the coil easily removed? My old Legend had a leak on that SS heat exchanger. If the bolts on the exhaust pipe aren’t seized, yes. I had to cut my exhaust pipe with a hacksaw to remove mineThanks Matt. I will look closer. Is the coil easily removed?

You have more patience than I do. I got pissed and started hacksawing away. I figured my welder could weld it back quicker than I could get the bolts off, lolused penetrating oil when hot over and over and broke all the bolts. Thanks for the heads up Matt. Will remove it in the next couple of weeks.
Did your welder get it back together? It's very difficult to weld something that has been heat cycled over and over again. You have more patience than I do. I got pissed and started hacksawing away. I figured my welder could weld it back quicker than I could get the bolts off, lol
