Finally made major progress. Frame and tank bolted in this a.m. Then dropped the everest in.
Next custom reels and few other things.

Have you tested the Transit driving around with all that weight piled high in the back of it? How does it handle? Does it sway around a bit?

Why did you position it in the back of the van?

Was going with a sub tank regardless so it was either out the side or this way. Did the math and full of water it would max out the front suspension...no thanks lol
transit 350 with ecoboost is 1050 pounds lighter on the rear axle. Now they are about equal.
Planned on backing into all resi jobs with the hose reel out the back anyway.

Drives amazing, honestly. Barely notice turning or using cloverleaf interchanges

I did a rear install with a big Steam Genie and while convenient, handling sucked. Fish tailed just felt unstable at times. Had to put 10 ply on the rear, it split a tire turning.
Ugh that sucks :(

This everest weights the same as a 570 or a titan 575, 860 pounds

The titan's sub tank lifts the unit up basically the same as mine

I have a new full size Transit that delivers in a week. I need to get it out fitted and lettered. Maybe later in the month, I'd like it together before fall.

Bite me! Its my money! :winky:
