Was setting up to clean a micro frber couch the other day, and noticed that I could only hook it up to a 2" hose. Later I took the vac / sol adapter off and chucked it up on my lathe, bored out the inside till the 1.5" cuff could fit in it. Now when I need 10 or 15' I can add the whip hose instead of running 50' of 2".

Must have a thin wall.

Why not just get a 2" cuff for your 1.5" whip?

Yes they do make a 2 inch cuff for 1.5 inch hose. Us whip line hacks use them daily.

Wall is still plenty thick, I don't use the whip often, but I need the 1.5" cuff for the rotovac for the mega rat nasties.

Vac-attack works good too for the 1.5" to 2" adapter.

SO you modified the tool to fit a 2" hose or a 1.5"?
Would have thought they came already to fit a 1.5, the challenge is to fit a 2" hose on them.
