Ivan,
Procyon "Extreme carpet Cleaner", seem to be the same as "Carpet & Upholstery cleaner."
Same dilution ratio. Very slight difference in PH (9.6/9.9) and Extreme carries the WoolSafe label.

As a fan (and user) of your products could you please explain:
  1. What is the difference between the two?
  2. Should one carry both or are they inter-changeable?
  3. Do all your products assume a water rinse?
  4. Can both products be used (diluted as directed) as a rinse? What is the residue and will it attract soil?

There is a big difference in both products -

As a fan (and user) of your products could you please explain:
  1. What is the difference between the two? Our Extreme! is certified for Wool Safe cleaning. The test results are pH concentrate 11.2 pH at working dilution is 10.5 and the Alkalinity is 6.5. As we have printed material that states 9.9
Our Carpet & Upholstery cleaning contains High Heat this allows the portables to function better with a higher performance when it comes to removing grease and oil. with a pH of 9.5
  2. Should one carry both or are they inter-changeable? Carpet & Upholstery should be used a portable extractor. Extreme! can be uses for all types of cleaning and yes Extreme out performs all our products and the benefits are huge.
  3. Do all your products assume a water rinse? Fresh water rinse is always better. Rinsing agents still leave a residue.
  4. Can both products be used (diluted as directed) as a rinse? Yes if you need a conversion from hard water to soft water it is nice to leave your customers carpet soft and squeaky clean.
  5. What is the residue and will it attract soil? I do not know all our testing is as follows but please review the results:
We did not test Walt Lipscomb Allied Fiber is responsible for the fiber testing on the left

I hope that this helps you with your Endeavors.

Can someone translate what Ivan is trying to say?

Ivan why don't you use different colors/font/sizes or whatever when you're responding to someone that you're quoting?

Yes, I understand it too Marty...when I have time to read the whole thing. Normally I don't like it -during the day- when he makes me re-read the questions too while I'm reading for the answers.

Just change the color or font to differentiate answers from questions. Not hard....

Ivan, thanks for the reply. I am having trouble understanding this:

  1. On your brochure it states: "Concentrate pH 10.0 RTU pH 9.9". Is this correct, or is your above statement correct.
  2. You said: "pH concentrate 11.2 pH at working dilution is 10.5 and the Alkalinity is 6.5." In that case I assume that the PH (basicity) can be relatively high and not damage the wool (therefore the "WoolSafe" compliance,) as long as the alkalinity is low. Did I get that right?
Thanks
