here are the pics that i took from using cti's new efficient extract. i did these with a portable machine using 4oz per ten gallons. the working ph of this product is 10. it rinses really well, i didn't even use a prespray with this other than to spray the entire carpet with the wand and then extract.

did this with judson juice (with hot sauce)

one last rinse with effiecient extract ( boosted with 2oz extreme clean powder)

these were done with extreme clean at 6oz per 10 gallons, scrubbed by hand with a deck brush ( no , that's not my vaccuum)

i really like both the efficient extract and jj products, but for heavy soil it's gotta be extreme clean.

I LOVE my 02, but buddy, I have to ask did you pre vac and pre scrub that mess?

With a Porty of any kind you need to ad some TACT.

mikey

my protocol for these units is

vac with my 887
prespray
scrub ( by hand, with a carpet rake or a deck brush)
rinse with multiple passes
groom it ( if the maintenance guys are done )

these units are kind of a pain to do cause i have to push the ninja, drag my vac and carry the wand and rake at the same time. i have the hoses and bucket bungeed to the ninja so i look like a homeless carpet cleaner.

with the 02 i didn't scrub it that much but i let it dwell for about 25 minutes. i read in one of the threads about how dwell time was key with this product and i wanted to see how it would do all by itself. i also used at my house this morning, it did an awesome job on this old pink chair that my kids trashed.

Only the extreme clean looked clean.

By the wand marks and ripples it appears the carpet is still too wet.

Oops you use a portable and that could be the reason why.

A local guy here parks his portable outside the house on the proch to avoid any blowby moisture circulating the house.

these are student housing units that are elevator access only , hence the portable unit

I would have used a 175.

But some jobs only pay so much.

make up for that wimpy porty with the agitation.

Or you could always use getto juice!

First time ever cleaned carpet was with this guy that only used a 175 and porty and he did alot better job then alot of truckmount guy's in this town.

Don't be afraid of that extreme clean.
Its only a 10.5 ph.

Get beyond the high ph myth.
When time is money get in and get out fast.

I use the extreme clean as a prespray and sometimes as a emulsifier.

Try prochems POWERBURST for your prespray.
In my opinion it works better than the extreme clean.
