Thank you everyone for your kind words. Long story short back in the early 90s I took IICRC courses because I knew nothing I was green I wanted to be a pro. I wasn't trying to become a master cleaner but that happened in 95. This is truly an accomplishment for me and not knowing me you wouldn't understand. Taking timed tests were about as easy as cutting my hands off . Thanks to some incredible instructors mainly Barry Costa I was able to accomplish these tests and over many years acquired the master cleaning status. So I wear the pin proudly! As for pre-vacuuming I'm a true believer ! You can teach an old dog new tricks. Thanks Mikey for the shark info it's worth it's weight in gold.

I can proudly say that I'll have a longer positive effect on the IICRC now than that snooty Canadian ever will..

I think (hope) John can tell that we are separating his achievement from feelings about the IICRC.

There isn't a comparable certification program to the IICRC that can be used as a way to assess ones knowledge, and John reached a difficult to reach level by his investment of time and money and caring.

So let me repeat:

Awesome John!
